Snow Totals are Down, but Not out of the Woods Yet !

Hello, this is Deputy Chief Jim Sullivan from the Dennis Police Department with an update on the snowstorm for Sunday night into Monday evening. At this time weather forecasts call for 3 to 5 inches of snow with 60 to 65 mile per hour gusts starting early Monday morning. Do not go near any downed wires as they may still be electrified. If you see a wire that is down call 9 1 1. Please report any power outages immediately to Eversource Energy by calling them at 18005922000. Please be aware they are predicting unusual high tides and flooding conditions on the north side of town especially in areas that are prone to flooding. High tide will be at approximately 12:49 p m on Monday. Several of these areas will be closed off to the public.
