The Friends of the Dennis Public Library Commemorate Walkway

The Friends of the Dennis Public Library commemorated the newly installed brick walkway today, Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015 with a very nice ceremony and several authors on hand to place their own bricks. Chair of the Board of Selectman, Paul McCormick, opened the ceremony with a brief history of how the library came to fruition in Dennis Port. Bob Lynch introduced each author in attendance. Great job by Adam and the crew at DPW. The landscaping, grass and walkway looked excellent.  The Village Garden Club also plays a key role in keeping the flowers looking fresh in the humidity and heat of the past few weeks.

Enjoy the slideshow from today’s ceremony.
