At the end of May, USACE announced three week nights of lane restrictions for repair work on the bridge roadway. The work was done during off-peak hours between 8 p.m. and 4 a.m. and was originally expected to be complete by June 5.
One lane will remain open on and off the Cape while the work is done.
The second round of nighttime lane restrictions will be Monday, June 8 at 8 p.m. to Tuesday, June 9 at 4 a.m., Tuesday, June 9 at 8 p.m. to Wednesday, June 10 at 4 a.m. and Wednesday, June 10 at 8 p.m. to Thursday, June 11 at 4 a.m. Both the Tuesday and Wednesday periods are contingencies for weather, according to USACE.
All four lanes will be open to traffic during the day.
